Jr. Andre Godbott-bollam of Brunswick heads the boys field. He has run a 15:51.00 this year and is ranked OH #9.
The Mentor Cardinal Classic features a Medina boy's team that is ranked #8 in the OHSAA Cross Country polls and if it wans't for Brunswick Jr. Andre Godbott-bollam, may score 15. The virtual individual race has them running 2-6. They will be difficult to beat. On the girls side, its going to be a very close team race. The virtual meet has the Chardon girls winning by two points over Medina and three over Brunswick. It's really to close to call but if Vanessa Pasadyn can move up, the Brusnwick girls just may take this one.
In the boy's indiviual race, Jr. Andre Godbott-bollam Brunswick is coming off of a win at Glen Oak and has the only boy's time under 16:00. He is ranked #9 in the State. He hasn't been out front by himself much, so pace will be important, but he is gaining in experience and should win this one.
The girls race features four freshman in the top ten. The fastest time is held by Fr. Felicia Pasadyn of Brunswick who has run 19:02.70. Her teamate, Jr. Rebecca Craddock, has run 19:29.00. Sr. Hanna Markel of Gilmour ies experienced and comes in with the 3rd fastest time of 19:33.70. Pasadyn may win, but she may have to go under 19;00.
