What's in store for 2016 in Ohio T&F? Every year Ohio's athletes provide us with many surprises. Ohio, year in and year out, always has some of the best athletes in the nation. I've pulled out my crystal ball and boldly will venture forward where no one has gone before. Here are 10 predictions for Ohio's 2016 T&F seasons.

1. Geneva's Brittany Aveni will set new 800m Indoor and Outdoor State records and perhaps best the Ohio All-Time 800m record. Indoors last year, she ran 2:11.74. Daniel Pfeifer of McAuley HS ran 2:08.84 in 2012. Outdoors the record is held by Candace Nicholson. Nicholson set her 800m record in 1996 when she ran 2:07.14. Last year, Chardon Jr., Rachel Banks, won the D1 race with a time of 2:07.27. Aveni was 2nd in 2:07.48. Banks' 2:07.27 was a new State Meet and Owens Stadium record. Aveni is fast and learned pace and patience last year. If healthy, she will go under 2:08 Indoor's and she and Banks just may go under 2:05 outdoors. We can expect a new gir...
