3,200 Meter Run
Fisher Catholic Sr. Aaron Wood leads an experienced D2/3 field. Wood ran a PR 9:25.76 in placing 11th at the MileSplit Scholastic Showcase. He was 6th outdoors last year in the D3 3,200 with a 9:30.48 and 5th this year in the D3 State XC meet. Lexington Sr. Nick Stricklen will challenge Wood and will be one of the leaders. Stricklen was 12th last year indoors, but was 3rd in the D2 XC meet last fall. He was just behind Wood in the MileSplit Showcase. Sr. Chad Johnson was 7th outdoors in the D3 3,200 and 7th last Fall in D3 XC. He may challenge, but expect Wood and Stricklen to be leading with 400 to go.
