Johnson and Jha win at Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational in Louisville

Ohio #2, 4 and 6 girls showed why they are three of the best runners in Ohio.  Hilliard Davidson Sr. India Johnson, who was OH #4, set a new course record and ran an a new OH #1 17:23.76 in winning the Seeded Girl's race at the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational in Louisville, KY this morning.  Troy Jr. Morgan Gigandet will move from OH #2 to #3, soloed for Troy and ran 5th in 17:41.84, improving her time by over 16 seconds.  So. Samantha Bush (OH #6) of Turpin was in the top 10, finishing 10th in 18:06.58.

The Hilliard Davidson girl's finished took 3rd in the Team race and Mason was 5th.

Thomas Worthington Jr. Arjun Jha won the Seeded Boy's Race in 15:21.81, improving his season best time by just over 3 seconds.  Jha who is OH #7 won last weekend at McGowan.  His teammate, Jr. Andy Payne was 5th in 15:42.47.  Sr. Chris Reischel of St. Xavier was 9th and Reischel's teammate, Jr. Peter Dauenhauer was 10th (15:58.86.

St. Xavier was 4th in the team race, Thomas Worthington was 5th and Mason was 9th.
