Hillsboro / Wilmington / East Clinton Tri-Meet - Recap

           Austin Goolsby of Hillsboro High School set the top Pole Vault mark in the state this season.


The Hillsboro / Wilmington / East Clinton Tri-Meet took place at Hillsboro High School on Tuesday, May 2nd and MileSplit Ohio was on site to cover all of the running, jumping and throwing action. 

Molly McCreary of Hillsboro High School won the 800m race in 2:48.80 and Wilmington's Samantha McCord took the win in the 1600m event with her 6:31.00 result. 


           Hillsboro High School's Molly McCreary took a nine second win in the 800m race. 


           Samantha McCord of Wilmington High School won the 1600m race by seven seconds. 


Aiden Chaney of Hillsboro High School won the 100m hurdles race with her 17.54 effort. 


           Hillsboro High School's Aiden Chaney took the 100m hurdles win in a time of 17.54.  


Hillsboro's Emma Hess won the 300m hurdles race with her time of 56.84 and she also won the High Jump competition with her 4-04 clearance. 


           Emma Hess of Hillsboro High School collected a pair of wins.  


Ryland Bowman of Wilmington High School won the 100m and 200m races with his 1st place times of 11.74 and 23.84 respectively. 


           Ryland Bowman took a narrow win over Hillsboro's Jeremy Hayton in the 200m race. 


Nic Hayward of Wilmington High School won the 110m hurdles race in 16.24 and East Clinton's Wesley Kidder recorded the win in the 300m hurdles event with his 44.44 result.

           Wesley Kidder won the 300m hurdles race with his finishing time of 44.44. 


Wilmington's Simon Heys won the 3200m event with his 10:34.00 effort and Deon Burns of Hillsboro High School took 1st place in the Shot Put event with his throw of 42-06. 


           Simon Heys of Wilmington High School won the 3200m race by over one minute.  


           Hillsboro High School's Deon Burns won the Shot Put event with his throw of 42-06. 


Hillsboro's Austin Goolsby won the Pole Vault event with his Ohio #1 and U.S. tie for #24 vault of 16-0 and he also won the Long Jump competition with his jump of 20-11. 


           Austin Goolsby is the state leader in the Pole Vault rankings with his vault of 16-0.
