Abby Steiner, shown during the '17 outdoor season, is the state leader in the 100m & 200m.
Multiple time state champion, Abby Steiner appears to be rounding into peak form as play-off competition nears. Steiner recorded a pair of outstanding times on route to winning the 100m and 200m races at Tuesday's Dublin Coffman Triangular. The senior now resides on top of the state's leaderboard in both events due to her 11.80 and 23.78 efforts at the meet which featured athletes from Dublin Coffman, Upper Arlington and Dublin Jerome. These results represent season's best times for the University of Kentucky signee and her 200m showing ranks her in a tie for fourteenth place in the country.

"I was excited to run yesterday since the weather this season hasn't been great and I haven't been able to run my open events very often. It was a good chance to get some solid times in for the season. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season has in store."
Abby Steiner has broken 12 seconds for the 100m on multiple occasions this season.
