(MileSplit spoke with Conant Smith following his win at the 2018 SNL meet)

Conant Smith tops the list of all-time performances by sophomores at the Ohio State Cross Country Championship due to his time of 15:13.20 in the 2016 Division I contest.  

Now a senior, Smith is currently ranked second in Ohio and twenty-fourth in the country from his 14:56.10 clocking at the Greater Miami Conference Championship.  The Arizona State University commit has collected six victories in his seven starts this season.
