Mackenzie Blendick / Olentangy Orange
It appears that Mackenzie Blendick entered this past weekend's Otterbein HS Qualifier #2 meet with a very specific purpose in mind - to win events! And the senior from Olentangy Orange did just that, as she captured a trio of victories.
Blendick went 9.41 for first in the 60m hurdles finals and leaped 16-3 and 31-9 for triumphs in the long jump and triple jump competitions. Both jumps represent new personal bests. Blendick's hurdles effort ranks her in a tie for Ohio No. 11, her long jump result stands alone as eleventh best in the state and her triple jump performance lands her in a tie for number nine.
