(Dan Conway talked to MileSplit about his outlook for the indoor season)
Dan Conway kicked off his 2019 indoor season with a pair of strong performances in the distance races at Friday's NEOITC White Division #2 meet.
The senior from St. Edward took a runner-up finish in the 1600, behind teammate Alex Hauptman, and a victory in the 3200. His 4:36.89 and 10:19.55 clockings were just what he was looking for, as his plan was to ease his way into the track campaign. Conway's goals moving forward include lowering his 3200m time down to around 9:20 and helping his Eagles squad experience success in the relay events.
