Warren senior, Trent Sayre spoke with MileSplit following his big win in the 1 Mile contest at the recent Mason Rod Russell Invitational. Sayre is set to line-up in the 1600 this week at the OHSAA Division 2 Region 7 meet, hosted by Muskingum University. The University of Charleston commit will bring a pr of 4:12.70 with him to his upcoming competition. He currently leads the state in the 1600, regardless of classification.

While not all athletes listed will be suiting up this week for a variety of reasons -- bowing out during the District round, injuries, transfers or due to a focus on other events, etc. -- many are certainly still in the mix and will be looking to punch their qualifying tickets to State's.
