Kennedy Jackson leaped 19-9.75 on her way to taking second place in the 17-18 division at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
The Walled Lake Western rising senior, who's coming off a victory last month at the MHSAA LP-1 State Championship meet, set a huge pr with her latest performance. Jackson, who was not among the meet's top seeds entering the day's action, found her rhythm on her opening jump and never looked back.
