Daniella Santos, Sean Carney Pocket Wins At New Albany

The Hilliard Darby duo of Daniella Santos and Sean Carney opened their cross country seasons with first place finishes at the New Albany Invite. 

Santos, a senior, and Carney, a junior, both took the pace out hard from the onset and never looked back as they cruised in with gaps of 10 seconds and 19 seconds on their nearest opposition. Santos clocked 19:39.80 and Carney put forth a 16:49.80 effort. 

In middle school action, Brayden Yutzy and Ellie McClelland secured 3200 race wins with times of 11:44.30 and 13:02.30. Yutzy represents Johnstown Northridge MS and McClelland is a member of the New Albany MS squad.
