Following her state leading 17:16.40 clocking for the Championship Division win at Centerville's Saturday Night Lights, Addie Engel is in the running for the MileSplit Girls National Performer of the Week honor.
Engel, a senior from Catholic Central-Springfield, sits at No. 12 nation-wide over the 5k distance with her new personal best mark. Her latest victory was her fifth in a row to open the 2019 cross country campaign.
