As has been the case in recent years, Ohio's pole vaulters have been making waves not only on the state-scene, but on the national stage, as well. Reigning OATCCC D1 State Champions, Dalton Shepler and Riley Hunt once again lead the way with top marks of 16-0 and 13-1, respectively. 

Shepler's effort, from Tiffin Open Meet #1, lands him at No. 15 nationally and Hunt's latest performance, achieved at last weekend's Sid Sink Open, positions her in the 5th spot country-wide. 

They're hardly alone, though. In fact Shepler shares Ohio's top vault with Newcomerstown's Hunter Garretson, who produced 16-0 as well at Otterbein #1 and Kenna Stimmel only narrowly trails Hunt's standard. The sophomore from Margaretta has a season's best of 12-10.75 from the Akron Pole Vault Convention
