We asked Andrew to take an opportunity to formally introduce himself.

"Hello everyone, my name is Andrew McPherson and I'm the new MileSplit Ohio Editor for the Central Region. In high school, I ran for Dublin Jerome and while I was there, I was a 3-time varsity letter winner in track and 2-time varsity letter winner in cross country."

"During my time at Jerome, I was fortunate enough to run 4:36 for the 1600 and 17:17 for the 5k and earned All-Conference honors in the 4x800 relay. I'm currently a Communications Major at Ohio State, where I'm trying to blend a passion for athletics with videography and photography."

"I've always had an interest in sports media, especially in terms of running ever since I discovered MileSplit as a high school freshman. I'm excited to hit the ground running with my coverage of Central Ohio this fall. Throughout my time as a competitive runner, I've had many experiences, many of which I look forward to sharing with the MileSplit Ohio audience."
