MileSplit Ohio caught up with the veteran coach of the Wayne Warriors, Mike Fernandez following Day 1 field event action at Mount Vernon's Jackets Holiday Indoor meet.
Fernandez recapped solid performances by Megan Rybitski, Brendan Hill among others and previewed what he was looking forward to from his Huber Heights-based team on the track the following day. He also gave his assessment of the new Energy Fieldhouse and his thoughts on the high degree of Covid compliance that the meet organizer's displayed.
