What's shaping up to be one of the best early season XC meets state-wide is seeking additional Division I teams to enter the mix.
On Saturday, August 28th the 2nd Annual Riverside Kickoff Classic Night Invitational will go down on the Beavers campus in Painesville, Lake County. Already loaded with talent both in the Division I and Division II / III categories, meet manager Geoff Weber is actively seeking more approved DI teams to round out the field.
Registration will be conducted exclusively on MileSplit and will open toward the end of July. Our coverage team will act as the meet's primary media source. As the beginning of the season approaches, we'll unveil our plan for what will surely be a high caliber and competitive night of cross country racing under the lights.
Aside from many of Ohio's top programs, several teams from beyond state lines are set to be on-site, including Wheeling Park (WV), Dearborn (MI) plus a pair of PA entries, Iroquois and North East.
