Flashback: Loveland Opens 2021 With Victory At Early Invite

2022 cross country kicks off on Saturday with the OHSAA Early Season Invitational at Fortress Obetz.

Eight races await on the meet's stacked schedule that'll include opportunities for Open runners within all divisions at both the 5km and 2.5 mile distances. The day will bookend with the featured scored contests for Division I and Division II/III, where schools in the largest classification open up and the combined division grouping will close out the meet.

At last year's edition, the team from Loveland claimed Division I honors though a balanced effort that saw their scoring 5 all place within the top 30 overall. The eventual state meet runner-up team produced a 19:45 average time with a compact 45-second spread between their 1st and 5th runners. Madison Conatser was the first Tiger through the line in 11th place at 19:27.80.
