MileSplit Ohio College Commitment Listing

The National Letter of Intent period kicks off on Wednesday, November 9th and runs through August 1st, 2023.

In just two days, Ohio's seniors can begin making their college commitments official.

At MileSplit Ohio we want to help celebrate those announcements, so make sure to tag us on social media to commitment posts, so we can re-share your information and add you to our college listing.

Recently, we connected with three Ohio seniors who've already expressed their verbal college commitments. In a few days, they can put ink on paper to make those commitments official.

Read below why Elena Horn (Turpin), Bennett Turan (Mariemont) and Kalib Tolle (Tippecanoe) decided on their colleges of choice.

For commitment adds, we can best be reached over our social media platforms:

Elena Horn (Turpin) ~ University of Cincinnati

"I chose to go to UC because I wanted a school with a big atmosphere and a big campus where I would also be able to run as a Division 1 athlete."

" I loved the atmosphere with the team and on campus and it was close to home. The school had everything I wanted in a college when it came to athletics, academics, and other social areas."

"The training felt very personalized and the team seemed very close which I enjoyed!"

Bennett Turan (Mariemont) ~ Xavier University

"I chose Xavier for a lot of reasons. I always knew I wanted to run in college, it was a dream of mine. I knew it would be hard to run Division 1 at the college level but that was a challenge I was willing to take."

"After visiting a lot of schools I found Xavier to feel the most welcoming. Xavier felt like home for me. They have a young team and that means we are going to be full of potential these next four years!"

"The coaching staff was amazing as well as the athletes. The investment they have made into their running program was impressive. I'm very excited to run at Xavier next year!"

-- Bennett Turan

Kalib Tolle (Tippecanoe) ~ Milligan University

"I chose Milligan University because I was looking for a college and team that would challenge me, but also feel like a family!"

"The culture and success of the Milligan XC/track teams are something I wanted to be a part of! I know I will be challenged in the classroom, in my running career, and will grow with my teammates!"

"The incoming class for Milligan looks very strong and I can't wait to be a part of it! Go Buffs!"

-- Kalib Tolle
