Front of The Pack

Anyone who was watching the races yesterday got to witness something that many athletes intended on doing when they found out they had qualified for the Division II/III Indoor State Meet, and that was leaving everything out there.

It is not often you see people gun it straight to the front of the pack, and then leading from gun to tape, especially in championships racing.

However, this happened in both the 1600m Run, and the 800m Run. In both final sections of these events between the boys and girls, with the winners leading from gun to tape: Kaleb Nastari, Alexa Fortman, Jaylee Wingate, and Colin Cernansky
