Setting the Pace

Closing out this recap will be from one who is now just two hundredths of a second from breaking a record held by Ohio legend Abby Steiner, and that's Westerville Central's Olivia Pace.

Pace, who has actually won this event for the third year in a row, continued her domination of this event on Saturday, setting the bar with the fastest time going out of the preliminary heats with a 7.47, and eventually clocked a blistering 7.38 time in the finals. 

Factoring in that Olivia is slated to compete at the upcoming New Balance Nationals, and still has outdoor season plus a senior year to look forward to, we will likely see something special: a rewrite to the All-Times list.
