Maple Leaf Track Club Indoor Series #2
Canfield senior (and recent Harvard signee), Dustin Brode continued his impressive season in the throwing events by adding to his state leading and US #2 mark by heaving the 12lb ball 64-4. Brode also won the weight throw with a toss of 65-2.
Hannah Neczypor, a junior from North Royalton, opened up her indoor campaign by posting an OH #1 time in the 3200m run by finishing in a time of 11:25.07.
Christine Bohan of Avon Lake won three of her four events, taking top honors in the 60m Hurldes (11.54), the Pole Vault (8-6) and the High Jump (5-2.25).
Twinsburg junior Samantha Eberman won two individual events, the 60m Dash (8.25) and the 200m Dash (26.63).

Chaminade Julienne sophomore, Cierra Brown, was a three time gold medalist by winning the High Jump (5-4), Triple Jump (34-8) and the 55m Hurdles in a OH #1 time of 8.40.
Other OH #1 marks were set by Springboro junior Carly Hamilton in the 1600m (5:14.08), and Chesna Sykes, a senior from Bishop Hartley, who posted a time of 7.18 in the 55m dash.
On the guys side, there were two double winners. The first being senior Nick Green from Wapakoneta, who won both the Shot Put (51-9) and the Weight Throw (45-9). The second double winner was Jacob Willey, a senior from Miamisburg, who won both the 200m (23.03) and the 400m (51.61).

Jackie Leppelmeier, a junior at McComb, continues to dominate the girls shot put. Leppelmeier bombed the 4k shot a personal best 43-10 to set a new OH #1 and US #5 mark.
Pandora-Gilboa sophomore, Ellie Braidic, tied her season best performance in the Pole Vault by clearing 11-0, which is also the current OH #1 mark.
On the guys side, Donte McDaniel, a senior at Thurgood Marshall, tied for the US #10 mark in the 60m Hurdles by running an impressive 8.17 seconds.
The only double winner was Eastwood senior, Justin Welch, who continued his assualt on the indoor season, this time capturing the gold in both the Shot Put (57-7) and the Weight Throw (71-11).
