Wittenberg

Undefeated across three individual races this season, Efa Paschka set a state leading 5:01.21 during her 1600 meter victory at the FinishTiming Team Championships

Her latest effort bettered her previous Ohio No. 1 performance of 5:01.26 at Wittenberg Series No. 2

The Mason sophomore also won the 3200 on Sunday in an Ohio No. 5 time of 10:52.17.

SPIRE

Jayla Atkinson set an indoor PR over 800 meters during her 1st place 2:12.64 performance. The senior from Stow-Munroe Falls held off Cailey Freeze and Amy Weybrecht in an entertaining Section 1 match-up.

Freeze, a Canada native representing the Speed Academy, went 2:13.45 while Gilmour Academy's Weybrecht clocked 2:13.88.

Notably, Atkinson is the reigning OATCCC Division I state champion and the OHSAA Division I state champion in the 800.

Similar to the aforementioned Dillon Morlock, Olivia Pace has been a fixture in our Scoop Series this season.

She took a pair of runner-up finishes at the ultra-deep Showcase meet going 7.38 in the 60 and 24.41 in the 200.

Pace's 7.38 ties the all-time personal best she set at last year's OATCCC State Championships and her work in the 200 is a new PR (inside).

The USC signee set herself up nicely with a prelims leading 7.46 in the 60.

Capitalizing on the familiar confines of home track, SPIRE Academy's Kadia Rock collected an event victory and a runner-up showing in the 200 and 400, respectively.

Executing the always difficult overall event win out of Section 2, Rock went 24.31 in the 200 for a new PR and an Ohio No. 1 mark.

In the 400, Rock produced a 55.94 for another personal best. The sophomore trailed in the standings only Kiara Webb, a Canadian standout, who went 55.58 for the meet title.
