Klinefelter Rises to the Occasion for First State Title

---

Allison Klinefelter saved her best for last during her senior track and field season, clearing the bar for a massive PR in the high jump with a jump of 5' 8.5". It was a landmark day for Klinefelter as she cleared 5' 6" for just the fourth time, cleared 5' 7" and 5' 8" for the first time and cleared 5' 8.5" for her new PR.

Klinefelter came into the day in a three-way tie for the state lead in the high jump with Penelope Webb and Alyssa Christian. She was able to beat both those girls today and shatter the previous state #1 height of 5' 6". On top of that, she also beat the previous meet record of 5' 8.25" set by Juliette Laracuente-Huebner last year.
