Hallett Expands Her Collection of Hardware

Already a four-time State Champion outdoors, Norton senior Morgan Hallett won herself her first two state indoor titles in the shot put and weight throw, expanding her impressive collection of state titles to six.
In the shot put, Hallet was challenged by Gwyn Lori who threw 42' 8.5" on her first attempt and held the lead with that mark until Hallet threw 44' 2" on her fourth attempt. That mark was good enough to hold on the the lead and another state title. Hallet only had two good throws, scratching on four throws.

In the weight throw, Hallett won with a mark of 54' 2.25", which was almost five feet ahead of the rest of the field. This mark was about a two-and-a-half foot PR for Hallett and ranks as the #4 mark nationally this season.
