Hudson Siblings Both Claim 400m Titles

First came the 400m title for Olivia Hudson!

Then came the 400m title for her older brother Evan Hudson!

That's right, the siblings from Oberlin both claimed the indoor 400m titles today and both did it in dominant fashion!

Olivia started off the show by running a new personal best time of 57.87 to dominate her heat, winning by 1.31 seconds. Her told PR coming into the race was 58.45 from a month ago. This was her first time running under 58 seconds ever.

Olviia's new PR of 57.87 now ranks #14 in Ohio this indoor season but ranks #4 for her sophomore class in Ohio. Nationally, she ranks #35 for her class of 2026. 

Following his younger sister, Evan Hudson had to come up big and add another state title to the family mantle. He did that convincingly, running a time of 48.68, winning by 0.76 seconds over the runner-up. This beat his old indoor PR of 49.05 from February.
