Sophomore Stars Show Out in Long Jump

---

Next year's indoor state championships will include a lot of talent in the long jump as the top four girls finishers return next season as do the top two boys. Among the top returners for next year will be this year's champions in sophomores Jacob Chambers and Kylee Zamecnik

Both Chambers and Zamecnik won their first state titles, with Chambers jumping 22' 3.25" for his title, winning by just a few inches, and Zamecnik winning by less than an inch with a jump of 18' 3". Both sophomores will be back next year, but with a lot of competition from their peers.
