This Week's Nominees:
Cooper Myers, Wapakoneta (Ohio): Posted the week's top shot put mark in Ohio with a throw of 65-6 at the Wapak vs. OG & Van Wert meet, winning a field of 34 competitors. The junior ranks #1 in the state among all shot putters in his grade.
Teague Boland, Moeller (Ohio): Cleared 6-10 to win the high jump at the Colerain Invitational, recording the best mark among Ohio's 108 high jumpers last week. The junior's clearance leads all high jumpers in his grade statewide.
Braxton Barnett, Shenandoah (Ohio): Swept both hurdle events at the Indian Valley Bell Legacy Invitational, clocking the week's fastest 300m hurdles time in Ohio at 36.90. He also won the 110m hurdles in 14.31, good for third-best among the week's field of 71 competitors.
Drew Zajack, McDonald (Ohio): Threw the discus 183-7 to win at the MVAC HS meet, recording Ohio's top mark of the week among 271 throwers. He also placed second in the shot put at the Poland Invitational with a throw of 55-1.75.
Decarlo Prince, Akron SVSM (Ohio): Clocked the fastest 100m time in Ohio last week with a 10.55 at the Independence/SVSM Tri Meet, winning a field of 18 runners. He completed the sprint double by taking the 200m in 22.40.
