Ohio Boys Performer of the Week (May 4-10)

After another week of track & field action in Ohio, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Ohio boys performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.

This Week's Nominees:

James Conrad, St. Ignatius (Ohio): The junior won the discus at the 5th Annual Solon Tom Iwan Invitational with a throw of 200-4, topping a field of 26 competitors. He posted the top mark among Ohio juniors in the event this season.

Elijah Harris, Wester. Central (Ohio): Cleared 7-0 to win the high jump at the Ed Rarey Gahanna Invitational, beating 11 other competitors for the victory.

Will Wells, Revere (Ohio): Ran 4:11.92 to capture the 1600 meters at the Mason Rod Russell Invitational, pulling away from a field of 49 runners.

Caleb Stanley, Pick. North (Ohio): Clocked 21.52 in the 200 meters to win at the Bradley Invitational, running the fastest time by an Ohio sophomore this season. The time earned him victory over 12 other sprinters.

Jay'Vier Kerr, Glenville (Ohio): Turned in a strong double at the 71st Annual Euclid Relays, winning the 400 meters in 48.05 and taking the long jump with a leap of 22-11. He topped fields of 21 and 25 competitors, respectively, in his two victories.
