Ohio Girls Performer of the Week (May 4-10)

After another week of track & field action in Ohio, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Ohio girls performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:

Emily Mechenbier, Perry (Ohio): Won both throwing events at the 71st Annual Euclid Relays, posting 46-7 in the shot put and 136-9 in the discus out of fields of 22 competitors each. The sophomore ranks #1 in Ohio among sophomores in the shot put and #2 among sophomores in the discus.

Anna Wile, Hil. Davidson (Ohio): Swept the hurdles events at the Bradley Invitational with times of 13.74 in the 100m hurdles and 41.44 in the 300m hurdles. Both wins came against fields of 11 athletes.

Kadia Rock, SPIRE Academy (Ohio): Clocked 11.80 to win the 100 meters at the 71st Annual Euclid Relays, taking first in a field of 27 sprinters.

Kelsie Snapp, Bellefontaine (Ohio): Threw 147-8 to win the discus at the West Liberty Salem - Tiger HS Invitational, topping a field of 24 competitors. Also won the shot put at the same meet with a mark of 39-1.5.

Jenna-Marie Thomas, SPIRE Academy (Ohio): Ran 14.11 to win the 100m hurdles at the 71st Annual Euclid Relays, finishing first out of 16 hurdlers.
