July 10th

Men's 110m Hurdles Prelims

Josh Thompson - Pitt / Steubenville - Finished tied for 2nd in his heat and tied for 27th overall with a time of 14.04. Automatically qualifies for the semis tomorrow at 12:30pm EST.

Men's 110m Hurdles Semis

Josh Thompson - Pitt / Steubenville - Finished 4th in his heat and tied for 8th overall with a time of 13.71, but did not qualify for the finals

Women's 400m Hurdles Prelims

Kaila Barber - Notre Dame / Midpark - Finished 4th in her heat and 17th overall with a time of 1:00.02 to qualify to the semi-finals.

 

 

                                                                                                            

July 13th

Women's High Jump Qualifying

Madeline Morrow - North Canton Hoover - Finished 11th in flight and 22nd overall in the qualifiying round with a jump of 5-9 (1.75), but did not qualify to the finals.

Taylor Burke - University of Florida / Medina - Finished 9th in her flight and 16th overall in the qualifying round with a jump of 5-10.5 (1.79), but did not qualify to the finals.

 

 

Men's Hammer Qualifying

Matthias Tayala - Kent State / McDonald - Finished 11th in his flight and 22nd overall in the qualifying round with a throw of 222-4 (68.70), but did not qualify to the finals.

 

 

Women's 400m Hurdles Semis

Kaila Barber - Notre Dame / Midpark - Semis at 1:35pm EST.  Finished 1st in her heat and 2nd in the semi-finals by running a personal best time of 57.29 to qualify for the finals on July 14th at 12:45pm EST.

Women's 400m Hurdles Finals

Kaila Barber - Notre Dame / Midpark - Ran 57.63 to finish 3rd in the finals and capture the bronze medal.

 

 

Men's 4x400m Relay Prelims

Quincy Downing - LSU / Glenville - Team USA Junior finished 1st in their heat with the overall fastest qualifying time of 3:06.26.

 

                                                                                                                       

July 15th

Men's 4x400m Relay Finals

Quincy Downing - LSU / Glenville - Team USA Junior finished 1st with a time of 3:03.99 to earn the gold medal.  Downing popped off with a split of 45.07.
