Aaliyah Barnes

Columbus Eastmoor's Junior, Aaliyah "Mookie" Barnes is "focused on the now."  After sitting out her Freshman year, she came back in her Sophomore year to win the D2 State 100m in 12.19 and the 200m in 24.73.  She is a hard, determined, runner who is constantly working to improve.  This year she will look to defend her State title in the 100m, but has switched part of her focus from the 200 to the 400!  We talked with Mookie about her races last year at State and what we can expect from her this year.
