Thomas Worthington held off a stacked 4x800 field to emerge victorious at the D1 State Championship with their US No. 1 clocking of 8:55.85. 

The OHSAA State Championships are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Jesse Owens Stadium on the campus of Ohio State University.
