WarriorElk Challenge Meet Process

Entries will be sent to Mike Fernandez @ mfernngin89@aol.com by Sunday May 4th. This will allow us to have names to be announced prior to each event much like the state meet does. Results will be posted on elkstrack.com as well as oh.milesplit.com .

Captains for the boys & girls teams will meet at midfield @ 4:45 pm to exchange handshakes and the flag from past season winners. This will be where we talk about sportsmanship and wish each other well. This will be followed by announcing the team captains to the crowd and a short reading on why literacy and reading is so important.

Senior Night will be held at Centerville this year (2008) and will go as follows: Running senior athletes will assemble at 4:50 with their parents by the locker room on the south end of the stadium. We will announce the athletes who are running the 4x800 1st so they can continue to warm up and then continue to announce our seniors- this will include any athlete who is not running at the meet. At the end of all the field events (about 6:45 pm), we will assemble any athlete who is still in need of recognition, this can include parents who cannot get here by the 4:50 start time. (Subject to change after parents meeting)
