Schedule: 9:55 Wheelchair start, 10:00 Runners start, 10:05 Walkers

Course Description: Flat, fast, out and back course run on all roads in the Centerville community. Roads are mostly shaded. 1 mile and 2 mile splits will be given. Start outside of Centerville High School. Turn left onto Centerville Station Road. Turn left again onto Johanna Street. Turn left onto Bethel. Turn left onto Cable Court. Turn left onto the 1 mile loop called Slagle and turn into Maltbie. After 1 mile loop the course repeats itself and finished on the track at Centerville High School.

Awards:
Money: Top 3 male and top 3 female runners in the following denominations: $100, $75, $50
Free Shoes: Top 3 high school and top 3 college male and female finishers. 12 total pair of shoe gift
certificates will be given away.
Door Prizes: There will also be many door prizes available.

Entry Fee: Preregistration: $15.00 if mailed in by July 14, 2008
Under the age of 14: $10
High School/college students ages 14-22: $12.00
Race day registration: $15.00 for students $20.00 for others
Enter a team of 10: $100
Enter a team of 20: $175

Alumni Scoring: Indicate what high school you attend or attended and help score your high school in the first Dayton area Alumni 5k Challenge portion of the event. Boys scored separately from girls. All money will be awarded directly to their high school cross country program. Scoring is conducted using the top 5 scorers from each team. 6th place person will determine all tie-breakers.

First Place High School: $150
Second Place High School: $100
Third Place High School: $75

Alumni Definition: You may represent any high school if you fall under the following criteria: (1) you graduated from the high school, (2) you are in high school and will be graduating from that high school, (3) you are in grade school and will attend that high school, (4) if you teach or coach at that high school, (5) if your son or daughter attend(s) (ed) that high school, (6) if you are an active member of the community that the high
school is located.

The definitions are lenient because we want all high school represented.

Unattached runners are also allowed for this event.

Babystroller/ babyjogger friendly event.

An animal friendly event. Bring out your best friend and run with your pet. Please keep 3 foot leash maximum.
