Course:
There is a slight change in the course compared to last year. We will be running the same course that was used in this year's Alliance Running Inv. The only difference from last year is in the first mile. Instead of entering the woods directly from the start, runners will make a right turn once they cross the road and head up the hill they normally do on the way out of the woods. Then, they will enter the woods through the back, essentially running through the woods backwards. We did this to try and thin out the pack before they enter the narrow woods. However, it seemed to slow down the runners a bit by adding the hill so early in the race.
