Electric Youth Track and Field Meet 2023
Field Events will start at 5:30 with running to follow. Each participant in the field events will have 4 attempts.
Long Jump
PreK-2 grade-no fouls, competitors will jump from end of runway (stand or running jump)
3&4 grade-must jump from end of the runway off of one foot. No fouls
5&6 grade-will jump normal from the board. Foul if toe is over board
Shot Put
PreK-2-softball throw-attempt to throw from the neck
3&4 grade-softball throw-must throw from the neck
5&6 grade-weighted throw, must throw like the shot
Running Events to begin immediately following field events:
50m dash (PreK-2 only)
100m Dash (Broken down by age group; girls followed by boys)
1600m Run (Broken down by age group but will run all together, Grades 3-6)
4x100 (Broken down by age group)
400m Dash (Broken down by age group; girls followed by boys)
800m Run (Broken down by age group; girls followed by boys) *may run together depending on numbers
4x400m Relay (Combined ages grades 3-6)
*Athletes can do up to 3 events
*Restroom facilities on site
*Concession for drinks only will be available
