The OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Post Season Cross Country Invitational is the ONLY OHSAA-sponsored post season cross country event for 7th & 8th grade teams. It is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to experience the state championship course and environment. Registration will open July 8, 2024


We will follow the same schedule as we have in the past; however, we have removed the school participant caps, so we may add races if registration numbers require it. Registration for this meet will be open to all OHSAA member 7th & 8th grade cross country teams.

: Fortress Obetz and Memorial Park


Registration: 
Registration will open July 8, 2024, and will be open to all OHSAA member 7th & 8th grade cross country teams. It is a streamlined one-step process through MileSplit that includes your mandatory verification form. Registration will close on Sunday, October 13 at 11:59pm; NO late entries or additions will be accepted.


Changes:
Coaches who wish to make substitutions after the entry deadline will be able to do so until noon on Saturday, October 19, using the substitution form that will be posted on MileSplit after registration closes. If substitutions need to be made after noon on the 19th, they can be made by completing a substitution form and turning it in to the timing team at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled race. No substitutions will be accepted via phone, email, text, or verbally.


Box Assignments
: Race and box assignments will be posted no later than the end of the day on Thursday, October17.


Packet Pick Up
: Packets must be picked up by a board-approved coach (no parents) at the area identified on the course map. The packets will include athletes' bibs and coaches' admission wristbands that must be worn on the wrist. Each school participating will receive one wristband, allowing course access

The OHSAA office will send invoices immediately following the meet based on the number of athletes registered for the meet. Do not send payment before you receive your invoice.
