Sophomore Matt Schiffbauer finished sixth overall in the men's race at the Mel Brodt Invitational on Saturday as he led the Marshall men's cross country team to a fifth place overall finish.
Behind a strong performance from junior Elisha Kipchumba, the University of Toledo men's cross country team placed second at the Mel Brodt Invitational, held Saturday at Bowling Green. The Rockets finished with 57 points, only behind Dayton, which tallied 23 points. Marshall came in third with 67 points and Bowling Green fourth with 91 points.
