Reminder: we will be limiting entries to 80 per individual event for 400/800/1600/3200 races (No Hammer throw this year), due to the size of the meet, AND will go with time/mark standards per event.Relay changes, we will run 4x200 prelims on day one now, and take top 8 to finals Friday, Relays will be top 32 verified marks and 4x400 will be top 24 verified marks only.

We will back at Wayne HS this year, on our new 13mm Benyon BSS 1000 Embedded Track surface
Thank you for accepting our invitation to compete at our 29th annualWayne Invitational, Thursday May 1st and Friday May 2nd , 2025 Since it's return in 1998 after a 3 year hiatus, this has been our biggest meet of the year and is recognized and one of the state's best run meets.Finishtiming will do our meet and will have results posted after every event and later on their website.You will also be able to enter two (2) per event and one relay.Entries will be done on www.oh.milesplit.com. 4x200 relay semi-finals are now on Thursday-TOP 8 teams to finals on Friday.
There will be preliminaries in the 100/110 hurdles, 100 and 200 dashes. Top 16 times will advance to the finals.
- Field Events will start at 3:30 p.m. and running finals/preliminaries
promptly at 3:45 p.m.both days. - Finals will begin approximately 6:30 on Friday.There will be a coaches meeting at 3:15
p.m. in the coach's football locker room both days.
Field events:
- The long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus: 3 attempts, top nine (9) to finals for three more attempts.We will run 2 pits in the long jump. *TRIPLE JUMP will be open pit for 1-1/2, still take top 9 to finals.
- High jump opening heights are: 5'6" for boys and 4'6" for girls.*We will run girls high jump Thursday, and
boys high jump Friday.* - Pole vault will compete everyone on Thursday (Boys and Girls) and will stop competition at 9-6 for girls and 12-06 for boys, then continue with the elite portion on Friday, with the girls first at 4 pm starting at 10 feet and Boys approx at 6:30 pm starting at 13 feet. WE WILL NOT BE CONTESTING THE HAMMER THROW THIS YEAR
We will have team awards for the top 3 teams, both boys and girls, and medals will go to the top 8 in each
event.We will score 8 places - 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.
Cost is $25 per individual -$200 for separate gender- $400 for full team (boys and girls)
