Welcome to the 67th Annual McDonough Invitational now hosted by Cleveland Heights High School on September 13,2025 at Forest Hills Park in Cleveland Heights. Thank you for joining us in running THE HILL! We are continuing to include a Middle School race on the same day but have moved to the separate MileSplit site per OHSAA regulations. We hope to see you all at Forest Hills!
- Start time: First race will begin at 9 am with the High School Girls Varsity Race
- Coaches/Officials meeting will beheld at 8:30 at the starting line
- Following is the order of events:
0900 Girls High School Division
0945 Boys High School Division
1030 Girls High School RESERVE RACE
1115 Boys High School RESERVE RACE
12 pm Girls Middle School Race
12:30 pm Boys Middle School Race
EVEN THOUGH RACES WERE RECENTLY COMBINED PLEASE ENTER AS PLANNED AND GCXC WILL COMBINE TO 1 VARSITY RACE/ GENDER
Trophies/awards: Trophies awarded to the top 2 teams per gender. Trophy /plaque to winner of each race. Next 9 finishers to receive medals
Entry fee: $225/ High School team (boys and girls counted as separate teams). $150 / Middle School (see separate site)team (boys and girls count as separate teams). Please make payment prior to meet or day of race

Entries: 9 participants per varsity race for high school. Middle School Races are unlimited runners with the top 9 from each team counting towards varsity. Open races available to unlimited runners.
Team camps: Team camps along the tree line
Bathrooms: There are limited restrooms at the park near the finish area and at the baseball field area
Admission: No cost to enter the meet
Concessions/Hospitality area: We will sell concessions cash and credit card options available and provide a hospitality area for coaches.
Parking: Parking is available at the Forest Hill Entrance off Monticello and Lee, It is a longer walk to the starting line from this area. A second parking area is available at the back of the park driving down Lee Road past the first entrance, turn left on Forest Hills with entrance to parking lot on the left side. This is slightly closer to the start(limited parking). Additional overflow parking TBD
Buses: Buses will drop runners off at the Forest Hill Entrance and then park facing South on Lee Road. There will be parent volunteers to assist with directions.
