Meet Information

PAC-7 2025

Dear Coach, 

The purpose of this letter is to provide you with information regarding the PAC-7 that will be held on Thursday, May 15. The coaches meeting will be held at 3:45pm by the garage inside the gate. We will have food and drinks for coaches, officials and bus drivers at the coaches meeting. Field events and the 4x800 relay will begin at 4:30pm. Running finals will begin at 6:00pm with the 100h/110h.

Coaches, please bring two volunteers who could be used to help in the assigned areas:

Canton South & Manchester - High Jump & Hurdle Crew

Northwest & Orrville - Long Jump/Pole Vault

Triway & Tuslaw - Throws

We will be using Milesplit for entries. The window for entries is currently open and will close at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 14. Scratches can be  made via Google Form up until noon on Thursday, May 15.

Field event Info:

Starting Heights for High Jump and Pole Vault will be based off of the entries that are received.

   -High Jump and Pole Vault are boys first

Long Jump 

3 jumps, top 9 to finals

    -Girls open pit is 4:30-5:30pm with finals from 5:30-6:00pm, 

    -Boys open pit 6:30-7:30pm with finals from 7:30-8:00pm.

Shot and Discus

3 throws, top 9 to finals

   -Shot Put is girls first, Discus is boys first

Notes of importance
  • Only 1/8 or 1/4 pyramid spikes may be worn on the all-weather surface.

  • No tape allowed on the all-weather surface, chalk may be used to mark steps.

  • A concession stand will be available throughout the day.

  • There will be a weigh in for implements used in the Shot Put and Discus located at the throwing area.

  • We will be using a Finish Lynx timing system (FAT) with a finish line scoreboard.

  • We request that tents be set up near the hill inside of the team entry gate

  • Scratches will be made via a google form sent out after registration closes

  • Athletes and coaches are the only ones to be inside of the track area. This will be enforced.

  • Seated athletes will compete immediately after the final heat of the corresponding event or in an open lane in the same event depending on the number of athletes and open lanes.

  • We will have PAC-7 Championships T-Shirts for sale at the meet tomorrow. Cost is $20 cash, card, or venmo.
