Dear Coach,
We proudly invite you to join us on January 15, 2011 for the Jerome Fields Open all-ages meet (high schools welcome). The
University of Akron is proud to help with the growth of a formal indoor track and field season for Ohio high school athletics. Due to the large success of last year's meets our school has been asked to host again the Ohio High School State Track and Field Championships on March 19, 2011. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to kick off your indoor season, and we look forward to seeing you and your athletes this upcoming season.
Facility:
Mondo Super X 300 meter track which consists of 6 lanes on the curve and 8 lanes on the straight. In addition, the facility includes 2 long jump pits, 2 pole vault pits, 2 high jump pits and 2 throwing circles. Locker rooms and showers are available.
Entry Fees:
$10 per individual (limit 2 individual running events, unlimited field events and relays)
$250 per team (boys and girls are separate teams, limit 3 athletes in running events)
Must pay entry at check in (make checks payable to The University of Akron)
Note: This is an entry fee. The entrant is responsible for full payment regardless of
the number of events actually competed in.
Entry Procedures:
All entries are made through FinishTiming at www.finishtiming.com. All entries must be completed by 5:00 pm onWednesday, January 12, 2011.
Waiver Form
A signed waiver must accompany payment at registration. No one will be allowed to compete without a signed waiver -- no exceptions. Click here to access waiver form.
Due to the large size of meets in the past, we are limiting the number of competitors in each event for this meet. Please check www.finishtiming.com and www.GoZips.com for confirmation of entries, updates to the meet schedule and any other notes.
