2026 Franklin Junior High Meet
Franklin Junior High School will host this meet on Tuesday April 7th, 2026.
There will not be a timing company for this meet, and therefore the results cant be used for qualification to the OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Championship Meet.
TIME SCHEDULE:
4:15 - Coaches Meeting
4:30 - Begin Field Events
5:00 - Begin Running Events
FIELD EVENTS:Each school/team may enter up to 4 participants.
High Jump Boys - 4, 42, 44 & 2 in. thereafter
High Jump Girls - 36, 39, 4 & 2 in. thereafter
Long Jump Girls/Boys - Open Pit
Shot Put Boys/Girls - Open Circle
Discus Girls/Boys - Open Circle
Pole Vault Boys - 6'0 - 3 in. thereafter
Pole Vault Girls - 6'0 - 3 in. thereafter
*** Pole Vault will begin with the girls at 6'0.
RUNNING EVENTS:
Each school may enter 4 participants. There will be NO prelims.
Final results will be based on time. We will run the standard order of events beginning at 5:00 with the Girls 4x800.
Depending on the number of entries the girls and boys 4x800 relay as well as the 1600 may be combined.
RULES:OHSAA Rules apply
No spikes longer than 1/4"
Coaches and Athletes are to stay off the football field.
No radios in the stands.
4 trials in the shot put, discus, and long jump. NO FINALS.
3 attempts at each height in the high jump and pole vault.
Athletes should report to the bullpen on the 1st call. The bullpen will be located in the short shoot nearest the concession stand.
