Harrison Central High School's Jasmine Arnold took the win at the East Canton Invitational.
Congratulations to Harrison Central's Jasmine Arnold on her 1st place finish at this week's East Canton Invitational. Arnold battled extremely adverse weather conditions to post a winning time of 20:39.60. Arnold took the win against her more experienced opposition in an Ohio #40 time for freshmen. Making her accomplishment all the more impressive was the steady rain and wet field that she encountered at the East Canton venue. This was Jasmine Arnold's 2nd race of the season and the first victory of her high school career. Her first race was the Claymont Early Bird Invitational where she posted a 2nd place result.
Again, congratulations Jasmine Arnold on her great start to the 2017 high school XC season.
Jasmine Arnold won the East Canton Invitational by 23 seconds over the 2nd place finisher.
