Congratulations to Ohio athletes, Zach Kreft and Matt Scrape on their excellent performances at Sunday's Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional in Indiana!
Kreft secured a 6th place finish with his time of 15:17.20 and Scrape was 8th across the line, as he recorded a result of 15:26.40.
Kreft and Scrape have both enjoyed terrific 2017 cross country seasons, as between the two of them - they've accounted for 16 race wins. Kreft was ranked 1st nationally at the conclusion of the high school schedule and Scrape was 4th on the Ohio list from his season's best time of 14:59.54 at the Watkins Memorial District Meet.
Both athletes will compete for storied NCAA programs next year, as Zach Kreft recently committed to the University of Notre Dame and Matt Scrape announced that he'll represent Syracuse.
Zach Kreft won the DII OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championship on November 4th.
Matt Scrape took 3rd at last weekend's DI OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championship.
