Zach Kreft finished in 12th place with his time of 15:48.20.
Despite having to battle through the adversity of falling shortly into the race, Kreft was still be able to capture All-America status with his 12th place finish. He ends his fantastic cross country season as the #1 ranked 5K runner in the country from his 14:29.95 effort at the Midwest Meet of Champions. The future University of Notre Dame athlete won 9 races during the season including his second consecutive DII Ohio State Championship.
