Beavercreek sophomore Taylor Ewert captured the win in the 1 Mile Race Walk event this morning at New Balance Nationals Indoor in New York City. Ewert, who also excels in cross country and in the 3200m, recorded a time of 6:49.20 to outpace the field by a wide margin. The second place finisher came in twenty seven seconds behind.
