New Balance Nationals Ohio All-Americans - Boys Edition

           Nick Miller / Wadsworth 

Nick Miller set a new 800m pr on route to a fourth place finish in his last outing of the outdoor season.  The Ohio State University signee recorded a time of 1:50.19.  This result represents an Ohio No. 1 for 2018.  

           Sean Glaze / Greenon 

Sean Glaze won the 3000m Race Walk event with his time of 14:24.95.  Just a rising junior, Glaze should be a fixture at national competitions over the next few years. 

           Hudson / 4 x 1 Mile Relay 

Hudson finished third in the 4 x 1 Mile relay due to their 17:26.83 effort.  They narrowly missed taking the runner-up position - Deluge Track Club from New York placed second with their time of 17:26.62. Hudson's Team Members: Adam Beucler, Jack Good, Eric Halford & Evan Manley.  

           Olentangy Orange / Distance Medley Relay 

The quartet of Tommy Wintering, Alex Kenish, Tyler King and Andrew Schroff posted an impressive time of 10:08.55 to finish fifth in the Distance Medley Relay.  With half of their squad eligible to return, expect Olentangy Orange to be factor again at next year's meet. 

           Yariel Soto / Centerville 

Yariel Soto placed second overall in the decathlon competition due to his 7025 point tally.  The rising senior from Centerville capped off his experience with a resounding win in the 1500m race.  His 4:35.07 clocking included a furious kick to the finish in efforts to close the gap on the eventual overall champion, Peyton Haack.  Soto indicated that he's determined to come back for the win in 2019.
