Meet Management holds the right to increase field sizes if the entry marks warrant a larger field size for greater competition and fairness to all athletes wishing to participate.
High Jump will take place as soon as the throwing portion of the competition is complete.
We will be taking 16 athletes to finals in the 55m Dash and 14 in the55m Hurdle Finals; 2 sections of 8 for the dash and 2 sections of 7 for the hurdles. In all field events we will be taking the top 9 performances to the finals. Athletes will receive three attempts in the prelim flights and then three more attempts in finals.
5K Entry Standards:
Boys: 18:30 XC/Track Time are acceptable - 11:00 = 3200m are also accepted standards
Girls: 22:30 XC/Track Time are acceptable - 13:30 = 3200m are also accepted standards
We will be using minimum measurement marks in the field events.
Long Jump = Boys: 18-00 Girls: 14-00

High Jump = Boys: 5-08 Girls: 4-06
Pole Vault = Boys: 11-00 Girls: 8-00

Entry Fees will be paid through Direct Athletics.
The Pioneer Elite Invite is intended to be a quality competition with selective entries based on previous verifiable performances. Because of the selective nature of this event SUBMITTING AN ENTRY WITH ENTRY FEE DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE INTO THE COMPETITION.
*The entry fee to the Pioneer Elite Invite must be paid when entering and only guarantees entry onto the performance list. Fields will be selected from the paid entries on the performance list. Entry fee will NOT be refunded to entries not accepted.
All entries need to be submitted through Direct Athletics. If you do not have an account, you can create either a coach or athlete account on the Direct Athletics website to enter. When searching for the meet, type "Pioneer" into the meet name field and click search. Submitting an entry does not guarantee your acceptance into the meet. Your performance must be within the allotted field sizes.

• Preliminary entry list will be posted Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, with the initial accepted entry list.
• Final entry list will be posted Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, with the final accepted entry list.
You may use a season best performance from the 2009-2010 season or a current 2010-2011 Indoor Mark for your entry. For example in the 55m dash & 55m hurdles you may use your season best from 2010 in the 100m dash or 110/100m hurdles as your entry mark if you do not have an Indoor 55m dash or 55m hurdle mark.
Meet management will be verifying entry performance marks to make sure they are accurate and everyone is being honest and to ensure the right athletes are in the proper heats and flights of their event(s). We understand most schools have not run some of these relays; coaches may enter a composite relay entry time based off the four expected athletes running in the relays fitness.
* Athlete/Coaches Hospitality = Included with your entry fee�s coaches and athletes will have access to a certain amount of free food and drink in the designated hospitality room.
* Awards = Awards will be given out to individual & relay event champions as well as 2nd � 8th finishers. Event winners will receive a Nike dri-fit performance shirt that is screened with a meet logo
* Athletic Training = Athletic Trainers will be on site to handle any medical issues that may occur during the competition; if athletes require taping please bring your own tape and the trainers will happily proved the service you need.
* Admission = $3.00 at the door. Free Parking.
* Concessions = Concession Stand(s) will be open for business.
* Facility = Dyson Baudo Recreation Facility #36 on the campus map.
� 200m Mondo Super-X, installed in December 2002.
6 lanes (36"), 8 lane sprint straight (42").
� We have 8 sets of regular blocks and 2 sets of Moye. Feel free to bring your own blocks. (Only 1/4" spikes in the base plate of the blocks.)
� Horizontal jump runway is Mondo.
� Pole vault runway is instant runway.
� High jump apron is Mondo (Sportsflex).
� Throwing events will be from wood.
* Spike Rule
� Spikes longer then 3/16" pyramids are not permitted.
� 1/4" spikes are only allowed on a shoe with a rubberized recessed sole. If the shoes have a hard plastic bottom on the forefoot, the spike may be no longer than 3/16".
� The clerk will be checking spike length just before the races. If your athlete is in violation of this rule, he/she will not be allowed to participate (if your athlete has shoes with a permanent spike plate and the spikes are greater than 3/16", they will not be allowed to use them).
� Spikes will be available for purchase at the clerk's table.
If you plan to use your own blocks, they will need to be checked in at the implement weigh-in table at least 45 minutes prior to the event.
* Timing =Timing will be a Finishlynx timing system; FAT.
